Sanoi is on Tour!
Thanks to Sound Selectors, Berlin-born, Aotearoa-based DJ and producer Sanoi (aka Jonas Fischer) is bringing his deep, melodic grooves to Common Room on 29th March for a night of hypnotic, groove-driven techno and organic house. A key figure in the electronic scene, Sanoi’s DJ sets seamlessly move through rich, ambient layers and funky rhythms, offering a unique experience that captures the essence of Berlin’s iconic sound.
With his latest album Echoes of Home, Sanoi explores the textures of organic house and techno, and he’s been touring the globe in support of it. Having performed at almost every major NZ festival alongside some of our best producers and DJs, Sanoi has also shared the stage with legends like Carl Cox, Basement Jaxx, Adam Ten, The Chemical Brothers, Barry Can’t Swim, and Flight Facilities.
Expect a night of meticulous and mischievous sounds that will keep you moving from start to finish!
Supporting the night are some of the finest local legends, Shutter, Sneeky, and SS61.
We’ll also have an amazing sound system installed especially for the occasion, ensuring the music hits you like never before. This is a must-attend event for anyone who loves electronic music that pushes boundaries and creates an unforgettable atmosphere.

SS61
The musical wizard of Hawke’s Bay, an evolving EDM artist known for crafting uplifting journeys in his sets. Blending Melodic, Progressive, and Organic House with a Minimal edge, his sound combines smooth basslines, harmonic chords, and uplifting vocals to engage both the body and mind. SS61 is skilled at seamlessly mixing tracks, creating a unique vibe that defines his style.
SHUTTER
This guy Shutter has quickly made a name for himself in the Bay as one of the favorites. Shutter’s sets blend minimal deep/tech and progressive house with a unique twist, delivering explosive, bass-driven grooves that get the dancefloor moving. Known for his high-energy performances, Brad has impressed audiences with his rhythm-driven approach, expertly crafted to keep the energy flowing and the crowd engaged from start to finish. His ability to read the room and build a vibe has solidified his place as a standout DJ in the scene.
Sneeky
Originally from Tāmaki Makaurau and now based in the Bay, Sneeky has built a reputation for curating dynamic, genre-blending sets that keep the crowd moving with fresh, funky, and familiar tunes. She’s performed at some of Aotearoa’s top festivals and supported notable NZ acts like Pitch Black, Sweet Mix Kids, and Salmonella Dub. With a strong foundation in old-school house, disco, and funky vibes, Sneeky effortlessly blends deep, indie, afrobeat, and more, sneaking in samples and tracks that transport listeners to forgotten musical treasures.
